Innovation Facilitator
Toby is an influential design thinker, an innovation strategist and a gifted facilitator and educator.
As a Design Thinker, he has been Director of the UK Design Council where he developed the Designing Demand program for business. He founded the Irish Centre for Design Innovation and co-created the “Double-Diamond” design thinking model. He is currently senior design strategist for the Irish Government.
As an innovation specialist he has been an advisor to the UK government on innovation, led a task force on innovation for the Irish government and developed innovation strategies for, among other organizations, the N-Power, the NHS and Dentsu Aegis Media.
As a facilitator and educator Toby has been a director of the world’s first virtual business school, the facilitator of the UNFPA innovation strategy and is a visiting professor on creativity and innovation at a number of UK and Irish universities. His recent clients include the BBC, Airtricity, AIB and Cisco.
